Best wishes from the ISS!
“Happy Birthday PEEK&POKE! Best wishes from the ISS!” – this truly special message from Earth’s orbit is something that money cannot buy and a great encouragement for us to continue on our path! Aleksey Nikolayevich Ovchinin is a Russian cosmonaut and the International Space Station (ISS) commander who sent us a birthday greeting from orbit in 2019. That “space postcard” became the first piece of Croatia in orbit. Now, five years later, a new birthday card has arrived from space, and we were speechless with happiness!
17 years ago we started our museum as a place of education, preservation of technological heritage and a place where culture and technology intersect. Our modest museum driven by enthusiasm and volunteers, brings success year after year. When even astronauts recognize our efforts, it means we’re doing something really well. We will try even harder to make the kids love STEM and maybe one day become astronauts! 🙂
